About Us
Serving the Southern Butler County Region
The company’s mission statement is to provide ambulance equipment, facilities and administrative services related thereto; the furnishing of emergency medical services and wheelchair van services to the ill, injured or convalescent individuals within the service area.
Since 1994 Quality EMS has been providing emergency medical care to several local communities in the southern Butler County region. We do our very best to provide excellent and compassionate patient care to the citizens who we serve. Beyond emergency ambulance responses, Quality EMS spends countless hours engaging our communities with outreach including sporting event standbys, community days, injury prevention, and other lifesaving programs. We take time reaching out to our residents and other public safety professionals and provide a multitude of disciplines ranging from CPR, First Aid and Continuing Education. We also participate in local, county, and regional councils and teams to discuss issues, provide options, specialized patient care and develop policies.
History
- Quality Emergency Medical Services was incorporated in 1994, and began serving the residents of Adams Township, Middlesex Township, Callery Borough, Mars Borough, Seven Fields Borough and Valencia Borough on August 1, 1994.
- The original physical location was at Fey lane, Adams Township. Quality EMS began with the purchase of a used ambulance from J&J emergency vehicle services.
- Quality EMS continued to grow in call volume and a second ambulance was purchased. At this same time we relocated to 106 Brickyard Road and rented garage space from Mr. Edward Vogel.
- Quality EMS continued to grow and purchased property at our current location, 222 Brickyard Road, the site of a former home owned at the time by UPMC. The service built two four bay vehicle garages.
- Quality EMS was an all-volunteer service, until August 2003 at which time we added paid part-time employees.
